Begging to Give...
One of the questions people ask is, does God ask people who are going through financial hardships to give for the work of ministry? I believe that’s the wrong question. The right question should be, should a Christian allow financial hardships to deter him/her from supporting the work of ministry? The Bible gives us some examples of people who were extremely poor but did not use poverty as an excuse for not supporting the ministry. Such was the case of the saints of Macedonia. They literally begged Paul to allow them to give even though they suffered severe poverty themselves.
